Laos

It's the second time I go in this beautiful country (1st trip in December, 1998). This country has just opened in the tourism and I advise you to go here faster before it becomes a little thailand (the changes are very too fast for my taste). It became the repair of the backpackers of the world. Regrettably, a lot go to it only for drugs (notably the opium) which you find here too easily. Nevertheless, this country has more "miracles" (human as historic).
One month will not be enought to visit all the country then concentrate on the North or the South of Laos. Personally, I preferred the North for its mountainous landscapes and its magic rivers.
